NASW-GA 2025 Board of Directors Election-A Call for Candidates
The NASWGA Chapter in accordance with NASW National office, is proposing to fill all essential vacant positions in the Chapter’s Board of Directors (BOD). In accordance with NASW diversity requirements,NASWGA seeks people with experience in the following areas: administration, community organizing, health,criminal justice, school social work, military, aging, policy, legislative, teaching, employment related to health,disabilities, family and with LBGTQ+ communities.
Benefits of being a board member are numerous including enhancing leadership skills, boosting credibility, personal and professional growth, influencing chapter policy and legislation, expanding professional networks, increasing visibility, and discounts on chapter continuing education programming.

NASWGA Chapter publishes the following positions as vacant for the 2025 Election:
- President-Elect
- Vice-President
- Secretary
- Masters Social Work (MSW) Student Representative
- Baccalaureate Social Work (BSW) Student Representative
- Eight additional board members elected to represent the chapter’s geographical regions as defined in Article IX of the Chapter’s Charter
- North Region Representative and North Region Member-at-Large
- South Region Representative and South Region Member-at-Large
- East Region Representative and East Region Member-at-Large, and
- West Region Representative and West Region Member-at-Large
- One additional board member serves as an at-large member.
