NASWGA and NASWFL Present: From Adverse Childhood Experiences to Exploitation: A Trauma-Informed Overview of Commercial Sexual Exploitation—Journeying Together with Best Practices with Sambra Zaoui, LCSW, EMDRIA-Certified EMDR Psychotherapist, Sensorimotor Psychotherapy Level I Practitioner, and Assistant Professor of Social Work at Barry University, from 6:30 pm to 7:45 pm (ET).
Participants will learn to recognize human trafficking and CSEC, understand the factors that increase vulnerability to exploitation, and learn trauma-informed, survivor-centered practices that promote safety, empowerment, and healing. This workshop is approved for 1 Core CE.
