NASW Georgia Events

NASW Georgia is now accepting online registrations for upcoming events. Events may be offered in person through local regions, in a hybrid format, or fully virtual to maximize accessibility and engagement. All events are open to NASW Georgia members and to future members.

In-person events are ideal for regional networking, trainings, and workshops, while hybrid and virtual options provide valuable opportunities to connect with a broader audience across the state and beyond.

If you are interested in hosting an event for consideration by the NASW Georgia Chapter, please complete the online Event Planning Form.

A separate form should be submitted for each proposed event. Unless otherwise noted, all event times are listed in Eastern Time. If you experience any difficulty registering online, please contact us at 1-678-788-8735 for assistance.

Continuing Education (CE) Credit Requirements

To maintain compliance with continuing education standards, participants must adhere to the following attendance and participation requirements:

Participants must arrive within the designated grace period to be eligible for CE credit. For programs lasting 1.0 to 1.5 hours, participants must arrive within 10 minutes of the scheduled start time. For programs lasting 2.0 hours or longer, participants must arrive within 20 minutes of the scheduled start time. Participants who arrive after the applicable grace period will not be eligible to receive CE credit.

Participants must attend the full duration of the program in order to receive CE credit. For programs that include scheduled breaks, participants are expected to return promptly following the break. Failure to return after a break will result in forfeiture of CE credit.

Attendance verification procedures vary by program format. For in-person events, participants must sign in at the beginning of the session. Sign-in sheets will be located during registration and removed after the applicable grace period. For virtual events, attendance will be monitored through staff verification and Zoom attendance logs.
